Hi Moms Panel! My family + my parents will be traveling down soon. We've chosen connecting rooms (POR). Can you tell me if we can shut the connecting door between the two rooms & lock it if we want to? Otherwise I may need to change to adjoining rooms.

    Hi Shelley!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!

I love the fact that connecting rooms are available at the Disney Resorts.  This allows for larger families to vacation together and to stay close to one another!

Yes, the adjoining room doors will close and lock if you wish.  Not all guests that use these rooms are family/friends, so they must lock in this case.  They will work like most other adjoining rooms at other hotels you have stayed at.

Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can help answer!!

    Have a magical trip!!
