Hi mom's panel. My family and I are new to the DVC and were wondering, do the rooms have pots and pans for cooking some of our meals or should we bring some of ours and use the purple box for storing them year to year?? Also, what about dishes/silverware?

    Natalia, Welcome Home!

You and your family are in for a spectacular surprise when you first check into your Disney Vacation Club Villa!

If you book a one-, two- or three-bedroom villa (each of which has a full kitchen), then you'll find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal in your own unit, should you wish to do so.  Just to give you an idea of what a "fully-stocked kitchen" might entail, here's what's listed on DVCMember.com for a one-bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort:

"Full kitchen will include the following: dinnerware, glassware, flatware, 8 pc. cookware set, colander, casserole dishes mixing bowl set, cutting board, measuring cups, measuring spoons, cookie sheet, paring knife, cook's knife, whisk, tongs, vegetable peeler, serving spoon, serving fork, ladle, serving platter, vegetable bowls, salad serving bowl, sugar bowl, pitcher, cream server, tea kettle, pot holders
Appliances: 10 cup coffee maker (with 1 coffee starter pack: decaf and regular coffee, coffee filters, sugar and Equal packets), microwave, toaster, 1 bar mixer, blender, electric mixer, 4 burner electric stove/oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher. 2-sided kitchen sink has garbage disposal"

To find this information for other resorts, do the following:

On DVCMembers.com, login and look toward the top left for "Membership Getaways." From that pull-down menu, select "Disney Vacation Club Resorts," then click on the name of the resort in question.  Next, on the left, you'll see "Accommodations" listed under the resort's name.  Select that and you'll see a list of everything that's provided in the various villas.

    I hope this helps! :-)
