    Hi Mom's Panel. My family leaves for Disney World in just 58 days and I can't wait. We are staying at Art of Animation, but have reservations at Chef Mickey's for breakfast one day. How should we get there & how early should we leave? Thanks!

    Heather, you must be beyond excited for your magical vacation. You have a countdown and everything.

    I know you are going to have the best time at Chef Mickey's and the fun you have will get you and your family all energized and ready to take on your magical day in the parks. You are in luck! There is a special character breakfast bus for guests with reservations prior to park opening. This bus will take you to Magic Kingdom and then you can take the resort monorail over to the Contemporary or simply walk along the path that takes about 5-10 minutes to the Contemporary (often faster than the monorail which makes stops at the other monorail resorts first). To find out what time this specially marked bus departs your hotel and where to catch it, stop by the front desk at Art of Animation the evening prior to your breakfast reservation and let them know your reservation time/location. The schedule of these buses varies by hotel, so they will have the most up-to-date information. Every once in a while a bus driver has been known to take guests directly to the Contemporary, but this is NOT guaranteed and is at the discretion of the bus driver.
