Hi Panel. My family is heading to WDW this april and we have 1 day where we are not heading to a park, any suggestions on what to do? My boys are 13 and 9 along with my DH and me. We are staying at the PC resort. we have res at the maya grill for supper

    Hi Wendy!

My family likes to day off from visiting the parks somewhere in between and even on our last day during our trips. It's a nice way to regroup and go at a more leisurely pace.

On days like this, we like going to Downtown Disney. We do some shopping, and the kids have fun looking at all the great creations at the Lego Imagination Center and the play area there. There are also some good photo op spots, and if you have pin traders in your family, I suggest checking out Pin Traders!

There's also a variety of quick and sit down dining options if you are there earlier than your planned dinner reservations and need a quick bite.

If you're really interested in having fun, maybe you should check out the Characters in Flight there at Downtown Disney, which is a tethered balloon experience that takes you up high for beautiful views of the area.

If you have the "more fun option" on your ticket, DisneyQuest is also at Downtown Disney if your family would like a different sort of theme park experience.

When you're ready to head to your dinner reservation, you can use Disney's bus transportation from Downtown Disney to head straight over to Coronado Springs Resort .

I hope this helps. Come back to the Moms Panel if you need anymore help with your planning. Have a magical vacation!!
