Hello Panel: Family of 5 adults and 2 children heading for WDW. Looking at 2 bedroom villa @ BLT @ Contemporary. How far away will we be from monorail, pool, fitness club, restaurants; is this just a short walk? Thank you all for your wonderful help!

    Hi Lynn,

The Bay Lake Tower itself is within a 2-3 minute walk from the monorail, fitness club, and restaurants.  The resort isn't that big.  I think the furthest villa would still be within a 7 minute walk to the monorail.  When you check in ask for a villa close to the Contemporary walkway.  You can also make the request if you check in on-line before your trip.  Guests staying at the Bay Lake Tower have their own pool and many other amenities exclusively for them.

A big perk to the resort is that you can walk to the Magic Kingdom.  Its more of a 10-15 minute walk, but my family finds it very convenient.

    Enjoy your stay
