hello moms panel, where exactly should i be in my packing and prepping for our family trip? We leave in 13 days.

    Hi Tammy!

I usually don't pack until 24 or 48 hours prior to our departure.  However, I do spend time getting organized prior to that point.  One thing that has always worked for me is I keep a Disney packing spreadsheet on my computer.  I have a list of all the items I want to bring along with the quantity, etc. and I can update it at any time.  I have a separate page for each of the kids with the items they need so they can do their own packing.  We simply print off our packing list, start to gather the items on the list and then actually pack - we have a column we 'check' when the item is actually packed.

Since you are within two weeks of your vacation, you should also be considering what you want to bring (shorts and t-shirts, all the way down to suntan lotion and water goggles).  If possible, try to avoid the last minute rush as that is when you'll start to forget things.  And if you do forget something, don't worry - Disney has plenty of shops around and you should be able to pick up anything you may need.
