Hi panel! We are going to DW during a busy time, 3/12-3/19/2010. Do you think its a bad idea to go back to the hotel to rest. I'm worried that when we come back the park may be at capacity. What is your thought on this? Thanks!!

    Hi Belinda!

That is a great question.  Yes, March is a busy time at Walt Disney World, but there are four parks to absorb the bigger crowds at this time of year.  Normally the only time a park reaches capacity is on Christmas Day or New Years Day and it is usually the Magic Kingdom that reaches capacity.

I would definitely recommend going back to your hotel in the middle of the day to rest.  I have used this strategy many times with my son and it helps refresh you enough to be able to stay later at the parks to enjoy Extra Magic Hours.  If you have the Park Hopper option on your Walt Disney World Park tickets, then you can start out at one park in the morning and then experience another park after your rest.  I hope you and your family have a magical trip to Walt Disney World in March!
