Hi Panel, dining question about Akershus Royal Banquet in Epcot. We have DDP ADR's for both lunch and this location a buffet? I heard appetiizers are buffet but entree and desert is ordered from a menu. Thanks for all your helpful advice!!

    Hi Wendy,

The Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot is such a fun dining experience.  You will meet five Princesses.  When you are first called, you will pose for a family portrait with one of the Princesses, usually Belle, and then you will be escorted to your table.  Four other Princesses will come to your table for photographs and autographs.  Last week when my family dined there, we saw Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Aurora.  The appetizers are buffet and include salad, fruit, bread, cheeses and sliced meats.  The entree is ordered from the menu, and there are seven to eight choices.  Finally for dessert is served family style and includes a chocolate mousse, traditional rice cream with strawberry sauce, and a flaky puff pastry with fruit on top.  The children's menu includes pizza, mickey shaped ravioli, hot dog, and chicken breast.  The dinner was very good, and I think this is one of the best Princess dining experiences!  You will have such a magical meal!
