Hello Panel! DD6 interested in Pirates League mermaid makeover but doesn't want a pirate (man) doing her makeup! I don't suppose there are mermaids on hand to do the makeovers, but are there female pirates? Did BBB last trip - how will this compare? TY!

    Hi Alyssa,

I am glad to hear your daughter is looking to visit the Pirates League on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  My daughter has been to the Pirates League several times and absolutely loves it! The experience is completely different from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  The Cast Members (Veteran Pirates) are in character the whole time and there is more of a performance with the kids as they choose their pirate name and during a special "surprise" at the end of the experience.  The atmosphere is much more lively than the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the Veteran Pirates truly keep the children engaged and entertained
during the experience.  Unfortunately there aren't any mermaids that are available to assist with the makeover process, however there are plenty of female "Veteran Pirates" on deck to complete your daughter's makeover.

I honestly think your daughter will have a great experience at The Pirates League.  After her makeover, be sure she participates in the daily Adventureland Pirate Parade, it is so much fun!

I hope you have a magical time on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Alyssa.  Please come back and visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may think of as your trip approaches.
