Hi Panel! 27 days-Yippee! I know on-line check-in is available, but would you have a better chance of getting a free upgrade on your room if you checked-in at the front desk instead? Thanks!

    Hi Katherine,

I don't really think it makes a difference in my opinion.  I have only experienced getting a complimentary upgrade twice in all the years I have visited WDW and both times it was done when I checked-in at the resort.  I have done online check-in as well and have not gotten any upgrades, so I really think it is based on the availability at the time you actually check-in to your resort and not so much whether your check-in was done in person or online.  I know that sometimes at the last minute they may have guests extend their stay, so the room you were supposed to go in is now not available anymore and the rest of the resort may be filled up if it is a busy time of year so they may upgrade your room based on what is left or available.  Hope this helps and I hope you have a magical trip to WDW in just a few short weeks!

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
