    HI moms panel this is my daughter's first cruise ever,. We are so excited and we will be celebrating our daughter's 8th birthday!!! We will be sailing away in April. What can we expect for her on her birthday and we have ordered a cake for her?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on your first cruise ever!  Your pirate fairy princess will have the best birthday so far on Disney Cruise Line and what a wonderful way to celebrate. Our crew has done many birthdays onboard, and each one has been a treasured memory. Start off by calling Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or your travel agent to make notes in your reservation that your daughter will have a birthday celebration on board. At Gifts and Amenities, pirate guests have the opportunity to order celebration cakes, birthday décor for the stateroom and gifts ahead of time. You should state on the order if you would like the cake delivered to the stateroom or at dinner (I suggest dinner so that the cast members can sing “Happy Birthday”). Also, visit Guest Services once you board to get a special Birthday pin for your daughter to wear on her magical day. There is no telling what special pixie dust will find her once she wears her birthday pin, and she may experience some truly magical moments. Consider a trip to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a fabulous makeover on her birthday or share a sweet dessert at Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats ice cream shop.
