Hi moms panel, if my daughter and I stay at the Califonia Grand Resort can we go over and visit the pools at the Disney land hotel?

Hi, Cindy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited that you are considering staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. All three hotels are mere footsteps from the parks and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa even has it's own dedicated entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. Guests are only allowed to use the pool facilities at the hotel at which they are staying. A valid key card is needed to access any of the hotel pool areas. So, if you and your daughter can't wait to go slipping and sliding down the dual monorail slides at the Disneyland Hotel pool, then you'll need to book one of the fabulous guest rooms at the Disneyland Hotel.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is currently undergoing refurbishments and the work on the pools is almost complete. According to the Cast Member I spoke with today, the Fountain Pool is open and the Redwood Pool is the only one still being worked on. Work is anticipated to wrap up this spring. So if you are planning on visiting this summer, you will be swimming in freshly updated and beautiful pools! Additionally, the guest rooms at this hotel are also undergoing a refresh.

I hope you and your daughter have a swimmingly good time at the Disneyland Resort!
