Hi Panel. We have CP dining res at Via Napoli 12/24, & DDP for the trip. Can we just order a lg pizza and pay cash to save the TS credits for other dinners? Is there an order min to get the package? I want to get the most of our plan. Thanks!!

    Hi April,

The Candlelight Processional Package prices for Via Napoli for this year are:

Lunch: $43.66 (Adult)  $14.90 (Child) Dinner: $56.44 (Adult)  $19.16 (Child) If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, it will use 2 Table Service entitlements per person.

While the package is not required to attend the Candlelight Processional (CP), it is highly recommended. If you are hoping to attend on Christmas Eve, I would go so far as to say that it will be next to impossible to attend it without the package. The package gives you vouchers for reserved seating. They hold a certain number of seats which corresponds with the number of packages that they sell. The few remaining seats are filled by guests who wait in the "stand-by" (long) line and hope that they can get in. During the busiest nights, like Christmas Eve, people can wait up to 3 hours and still not get a seat. That leaves them really disappointed and wishing they had bought a package.

If you arrive at Via Napoli and choose to order just a pizza, your CP package would be cancelled and you wouldn't receive the vouchers. You have to do the package price listed above to get the vouchers. You do not, however, have to use your Table Service credits. You do have the option of paying cash instead. You would be paying the full price listed above per person in cash and you could then use your Table Service credits for two other meals instead. My husband and I have done this quite often, we pay cash for the meals that require two credits as we've found that makes our credits go further. When you do the math and see that one dinner buffet can cost $45 per person and it takes one table service credit, it makes sense to pay cash out of pocket for the CP Package and then get two meals with your credits at a later date.

I'm out of room but if you need further clarification please send me a followup question.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
