Hi panel. Am coming to POFQ in 59 days time. Although have been to disney many times first time we will be staying at the world. When you check in to the hotel what sort of info do you recieve ie park opening times etc or is it best to bring info with you.

    Hi Lesley!

Wow - by now, your countdown is even closer!!!  You are in for such a treat, staying on Disney Property is like a vacation in itself.  My favorite benefit of staying on property is actually being surrounded by the Disney magic 24 hours day - I try to tune the rest of the "real world" out!  Of course, you can also take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, Magical Express airport transport, Dining Plans and sooo much more!

When you arrive at the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort (which is fabulous by the way!) you will be given a Welcome Packet which will contain a map of your resort and the Sassagoula Times among many other things.  The Sassagoula Times is a Port Orleans themed newsletter packed full of theme park info, park hours, Extra Magic Hours, dining info and more.  Any other questions that you have can easily be answered by the Cast Member when you check in.  I would bring a copy of your Advanced Dining Reservations, resort reservation information and flight confirmations.  Other than that, you will be provided with everything you need and more!

I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and keep those questions coming!

    Much pixie dust,
