    Hello panel we are coming May 19-25. When does the summer rush start? Are we at the beginning of it or right before?

    Hello John!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Well, I've got good news and not so good news - the good news is that for most of your Walt Disney World vacation, you should experience moderate crowd levels.  The not so good news is that the last few days of your vacation could see a big increase in crowd levels due to Memorial Day Weekend.  That is also the unofficial kick-off to the summer season.  Also, Disney's Hollywood Studios will be busy starting on the weekend of the 17th due to the Star Wars Weekends. If you are not interested in experiencing that, I would visit Hollywood Studios on a week day as this event runs from Fri - Sun.

    If you haven't already, be sure to make online advance reservations for Disney Dining.  May will be a wonderful month weather-wise, as the humidity of the summer usually hasn't set in, but do bring an umbrella or pick up some rain ponchos at your local dollar store to carry with you just in case.
