Hi Jeanne,
I very much enjoy my coffee in the morning! I love taking that first cup out onto the balcony before the rest of my family has woken up and taking in the early morning ambiance at Walt Disney World.
The type of coffee maker that will be in your room at Disney's Beach Club Resort depends on which part of the resort you are staying at. For the hotel side of the resort - that's
Disney's Beach Club Resort in a traditional hotel room - the coffee makers are Cuisinart brand. They are the kind that use pods, and you can brew one or two cups at a time. These pods are the little disks that have filters around them - not K-cups. You are welcome to bring your own coffee pods; however, the resort will provide them for you. You can request that housekeeping bring you more coffee pods if you run out.
If you are staying on the Disney Vacation Club side of the property - at
Disney's Beach Club Villas - the coffee pot is a typical drip coffee maker. When you arrive, there will be a starter pack of coffee in the villa. If you are staying on points as a Disney Vacation Club member, the coffee will be replenished only on days that you get housekeeping. You can also request additional packets of coffee from housekeeping. If you want to bring your own coffee for the coffee makers in the villas, you would need to bring ground coffee and regular coffee filters.
I hope this information helps, Jeanne! Have a great vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
