Hi panel, brand new DVC member! Wondering at AK Jambo House, do they have the refillable mugs with the quick service dining plan or do we have to pay for them separately? What is the difference between Kidani and Jambo? Is there a good spot to request?

    Hi Rebecca,

"Welcome home!" to Disney Vacation Club! The Disney Dining Plans are the same regardless of resort. The Quick-Service Dining Plan does include a refillable mug for each member of your family.

Both Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village are beautiful. Jambo House is what you might consider the "main" building, and includes the hotel accommodations as well as Disney Vacation Club villas. Kidani Village is located next to Jambo House. Kidani Village is more spread out and has shorter buildings, set up in more of a village style. The amount of points needed for accommodations at each is the same. Value accommodations and Kilimanjaro Club Concierge are available only at Jambo House. The Kidani Village one-bedroom villas have two full bathrooms whereas the Jambo House one-bedroom villas have only one bathroom. There is a quick-service location for food at Jambo House, but not at Kidani Village. I would say that Jambo House is more centrally located and has a little more hustle and bustle, whereas Kidani Village is a little more spread out and relaxed.

I am limited in the space I have to answer, Rebecca, but I would love to help if you have more questions about your trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and your new membership in Disney Vacation Club. Please ask if you have further questions!
