Hi Panel. My boys (15,9,6) are really looking forward to visiting the water parks during our 6/2-6/10 visit so I am wondering what days you would suggest being water parks days? Is it worth upgrading tickets to include water parks? Thanks for the help!

    Amber:

I am a big fan of adding the Water Parks & More Option to your Magic Your Way Base Ticket because it not only can stretch a vacation but offer variety from the theme parks. For just a little more than the price of one visit to a Disney water park, you will receive an equal number of "fun" visits to the number of days on your park ticket. For example, if you have a 5-Day Magic Your Way Ticket, you'll receive 5 fun visits. These visits are entrances to Disney's two water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach), Disney's 9-hole walkable golf course Oak Trail, along with DisneyQuest and the miniature golf courses (before 4 p.m.).

I typically encourage guests to go to the water parks on the week days when there are fewer local guests. I have found that attendance at any of Disney's attractions are usually lower on Tuesdays. Regardless, even if you have to go on a Friday or Saturday, if you arrive at the water parks before they open (around 9:45 a.m.), you can experience most of the slides before the crowds get there around noon. Then you can enjoy the surf pool at Typhoon Lagoon or the bobbing water and sand at Blizzard Beach.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
