Hi, Moms Panel! About to book a trip and we have narrowed down our visit to two weeks, the week of 2/28/15-3/7/15 or 4/25/15-5/2/15. Could you provide some of your wisdom on the pros/cons of each of those weeks? Your help is invaluable & much appreciat

    Hi Lauren,

Thank you so much for the kind words. I love answering questions about the best time of year to travel to Walt Disney World. Planning is key! I really studied your dates ... I think you've chosen two weeks that sit either before or after the heaviest Spring Break crowds. If considering package rates and crowd levels, there is likely no difference at all between these two weeks. Both are great choices!

The April dates will generally be warmer, so if you prefer milder weather I would select the February week. Also keep in mind Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival begins early March. This year it started March 4th through May 18th, so the first week you're considering might or might not fall within this festival opening. If you have not ever attended, the displays are stunningly gorgeous and the festival now includes food booths to taste your way around the World Showcase. Dates will be released soon on the above link.

I think either choice will be "practically-perfect," Lauren, and please feel free to visit me again with further questions.

    Wishing you a magical visit!
