Hi Moms Panel. What is the best way to remember when to cancel a dining reservation by so you are not charged the cancellation fee? We r visiting 14 days in Nov. We may end up changing reservations depending on what we are doing. Thank you.

    Hi Teresa:

You can cancel your dining reservation online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the day before your arrival. Some restaurants may charge a fee for cancelations or no shows. Each restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort maintains its own cancelation policy, so be sure to check the policy when you are making your reservation.  When making dining reservations, you will be provided with the restaurant's cancelation policy.  While the policy of each restaurant controls, in general, you are asked to cancel a dining reservation the day before the reservation

To help remember, you can set reminders to your phone or leave yourself notes.  Another idea is to ensure you talk about your following day dining plan at every dinner.  Dinnertime should be a natural time for the topic of food to come up and can help remind you to firm your dining plans for the following day.

    Enjoy your vacation.
