Hi panel? What is the best way to get from fort wilderness cabins to Chef Mickeys at contemporary resort? Boat to MK then monorail? Thanks as always from Pittsburgh!

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

You're in luck - it's actually quite easy to get from The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort because there is a boat that runs between these two Walt Disney World Resort hotels! I'm not sure what time these boats start to run, so I would recommend checking with your Resort's concierge desk the day before your reservation, especially if you're planning to dine at Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

If there is no boat transportation the day of your dining reservation, then I would definitely recommend taking the boat to Magic Kingdom Park, followed by either the monorail or a 10 minute walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
