This panel is awesome! This is my 4yr son 1st Disney experience; we are staying at the Beach Club 10/8 - 10/12. My plan has us visiting AK and HS the first day. Then, MK the 2nd.I hope this isn't a mistake? We're doing Pirates League and NSSHP too.

I'm so glad that the panel has been helpful for you, Amy; we appreciate your kind words!  Hopefully you've picked up some great tips that will help to ensure your son's first Disney experience is unforgettable.  Something tells me we needn't worry about that.  Your stay at the Beach Club is bound to be amazing.  My family loves that resort.

I can honestly tell you that visiting Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on your first day is not a mistake, in my opinion.  I know there are those out there who insist on taking in Magic Kingdom first, but I'm not among them.  I plan my family's itinerary based on which park is anticipated to be least crowded.  I'm sure you have your reasons for planning for Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios first.  Your four-year-old will likely be most enamored with Magic Kingdom, but his enjoyment will not be tampered by the order in which he visits the parks.  Especially because you've planned for some extra special activities at Magic Kingdom.  If we can be of any further assistance, please don't hesitate to come back and ask further questions!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
