Hi Panel! Arriving in WDW around 2pm or so with DH and DS ages 5 and 2. Staying at POFQ. In your opinion, should we go to Downtown Disney or the Boardwalk our first day? Hang out at the hotel? Thanks!

    Hi Tamra!!!

Thank you so much for your question!!

I think that the first day is a great day to visit Downtown Disney.  You will have excellent choices for dinner that evening and great shopping options.  You are not arriving too late in the day, so I would think that you could spend 3-4 hours at the Downtown Disney Area and still get back to Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter at a reasonable time that evening so that you get a good nights rest and gear up for your first day in the theme parks!!

I know that your children will have such a wonderful time!!!

    Have a magical day!!

    Scott
