    Hi panel. You answer so many questions - and are so helpful. I haven't seen an answer to this: Are the shops in the parks, resorts and DD - assuming they have the same/similar merchandise - priced the same? Or are there deals to be had in certain shops?

    Hi Erin,

    Welcome to the Moms Panel, this is a great question!  The merchandise pricing is standardized thoughout Walt Disney World, meaning if you see a souvenir in your resort gift shop - and it is also carried at the World of Disney at Downtown Disney the price will be the same - so no need to price compare.  It's worth mentioning that there are sometimes deals with Disney Visa for discounts on purchases at World of Disney, so that is worth asking about.

    Now just as a word of caution, there are items that are unique to parks and Downtown Disney.  So if you see something at a shop at the Magic Kingdom it will not necessarily be available elsewhere at WDW.  So if you find a park specific souvenir that you really want - purchase it when you see it unless you plan on returning to the same store later.  This is a situation where the Walt Disney World resort package delivery service comes in handy.  For guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort, purchases can be delivered to your resort for your convenience.  This way you don't have to carry them through the parks during your visit.
