Hi Panel, it's me again. Things are just popping in my head as I make our plans. Where and how is the best way for the kids to get to interact with some of the characters, would really like to get pictures with one since this is their first visit.

    Hi Stephanie,

There are a number of ways to ensure that your kids have an opportunity to interact with characters (and, more importantly, that you have time to capture their experiences with your camera!)  Stationary character meet and greets are a great option.  One of my favorites is Character Connection at Epcot, where you can wait on one, indoor (air-conditioned) line for an opportunity to meet some Disney classics.  Characters are subject to change, but Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Chip & Dale are often found here.  At the Magic Kingdom, there is another character meet located inside Mickey's Toontown that features princesses and fairies.  Disney PhotoPass photographers are located at many of the character meeting areas, and will take pictures that will be uploaded to your PhotoPass account.  In addition, they are happy to take pictures with your personal camera so that your entire party can be included.  Character meals are another fabulous way to see the characters.  While you dine, featured characters make their rounds to guests' tables and afford them plenty of time to take pictures and sign autograph books.  Plus, it's a lot easier to convince your kids to eat their veggies when Mickey is around the corner!  You can also see characters daily throughout the parks in a variety of locations.  When a character is available, s/he will have a Cast Member nearby to help guests form a line and take turns having their pictures taken.

Have a wonderful first visit with your children!
