This panel is addicting. Luvit! Wanting to surprise DH with a night out but am becoming overwhelmed as to where. What is the best kids program for DS11 & DD9 and recommend something for DH and I to do. On a budget so fancy would be too $$$.

    Hi  Julia,

Hands-down, our kids' favorite child care location is the Neverland Club at the Polynesian Resort.  It offers crafts, games, videos, and video games all in a location themed after Peter Pan (the kids enter the club by going through the window, just like in the movie); they would ask to go there on each trip they loved it so much!  Aside from knowing our kids were in good hands, we liked the ease of being able to go on a date with the many dining options that are nearby.

My husband and I really enjoy the California Grill at the Contemporary, but it may be a budget buster.  Similarly, Citricos and Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian are enjoyable.  If you click on the links,  you can explore their menus to see if they are an option.

Some more affordable options are The Wave at the Contemporary, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand Floridian.

And a whole different idea is to grab dinner from one of the counter service restaurants then have a seat on a chair on the beach (the Polynesian has hammocks!) and enjoy a quiet, but romantic picnic watching the fireworks.

Thanks for the compliment, too.  We love being able to help guests. Please don't hesitate to ask more questions.
