After the pandemic and things opening back up, are life jackets still available at Disney World Resorts for guests? If so, do they offer sizing for a 20 month old? Thank you!

Hey there, Ashley! Welcome to planDisney!

There are so many details to consider when planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, so I'm glad to see that you're getting all your mice in a row! It is the Most Magical Place on Earth for Guests of all ages, sizes and backgrounds, so there are many accommodations for our little adventurers. In fact, that is one of the things I love most about Walt Disney World. Smaller children aren't just brought along for the ride- the magic is made for them too!

The pools at Disney Resort Hotels are so very kid-friendly, with easy entry pools and areas tailored to even the youngest Mouseketeers. Life jackets are still offered at Disney Resort Hotels, available to borrow free of charge. There are sizes that will fit the average 20-month old child. You'll want to opt for the smallest size, made for children under 30 pounds. Life jackets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Though I've never had trouble finding an available life jacket for my children, this is always something to keep in mind.

Ashley, many Disney Resort Hotels offer even more amenities for your little one to enjoy! If you're spending a day by the pool, the Riviera Pool at Disney's Riviera Resort often has a small cart with refreshing gelato flavors and the Pineapple Lanai at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has delicious DOLE Whip creations that you can enjoy poolside! Many resorts also offer a variety of other recreational activities, like Movies Under the StarsCampfires, community halls and more. When booking your resort hotel, be sure to check the "Recreation" tab to see what is offered for your little prince or princess, or stop by the lobby to check out the activity schedule during your stay!

I hope this helps answer your question today, Ashley. When I'm planning and packing, I always choose to use the life jackets available at my resort hotel. They're easily accessible and it's an added bonus to save space in my suitcase without bringing our own bulky floatation devices!

    Have a magical stay,

    Ashley
