Hiya, James!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. Looks like you are finalizing the details of your packing list for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this week. It's always smart to double-check that your park bag is packed with
items that are permitted inside the Main Entrance gates. Let's take a look!
It's exciting to plan how you'll capture the special moments of a Disneyland visit. I spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that you should not have an issue with your camera as long as the footage is for personal, not commercial, use. If you read through the prohibited items, there are no restrictions around camera size, but Guests are not allowed to bring in selfie sticks or handheld extension poles for cameras or mobile devices, and any tripods or monopod stands must fit inside a standard backpack and cannot extend over 6'. Other than that, you should be all set!
Now that you've got that checked off your to-do list, you can just let the pixie-dusted excitement take over. What's so special about this particular time of year is that you will get to enjoy (and capture!) touches of the
70th Anniversary alongside the festive fall fun of
Halloween Time. From the Paint the Night parade to Halloween Screams to Jack Skellington's Haunted Mansion Holiday, there are so many limited-time offerings to experience. If you're not sure where to start, the Disney Parks Blog has put together comprehensive guides to both
Halloween Time and the
70th, and I highly recommend taking some time to read through them so you can earmark any must-dos!
James, I sure hope this has been helpful! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
Tara
