We are going on the Panama Canal Cruise in May on the Wonder. We would like to decorate our door and make a Hidden Mickey on our door. Do you know how big the "portal" on the door is, so we can make a Hidden Mickey out of it?

    Ahoy, Laurie!

I'm so excited to hear you'll be cruising through the Panama Canal in May. That sounds like an awesome voyage, with some really fun stops at some amazing ports of call. I can't imagine anything better than being onboard a Disney ship for fourteen nights! (Except being onboard for fifteen or twenty!)

I recently sailed with Disney Cruise Line, and I happened to do the research on the size of the "porthole" on the door. We were sailing right after the Princess Half Marathon, and I wanted to make Princess Minnie ears for our stateroom door! I can tell you that the "porthole" on the stateroom door is 7.5 inches in diameter.

You can find several free printable door decorations by searching online. There are Facebook groups, Etsy pages and Pinterest pins dedicated solely to the decoration of Disney Cruise Line stateroom doors! I was able to download a cute set of Princess Minnie ears and print them myself on magnet paper. Easy peasy!

I hope you find just what you're looking for to personalize your stateroom door. There are lots of choices out there - choosing your favorite is half the fun!

    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
