Hi panal, I was just making sure that on the new dining plan that dessert is no longer a part of the plan.We now have 2 snacks per day. If we would like a yummy dessert would could just pay with a Disney gift card correct?

    Hi Nicole!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I really enjoy using the Disney Dining Plans - they are convenient and flexible, and such good value!  You are correct, for the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan the dessert has been removed, but replaced with an extra Snack credit.  For each Guest, per every night of your stay, you will receive Two Quick-Service Meals, and Two Snacks.  Each Quick-Service meal includes one Entree and one Non-alcoholic Beverage (or an Alcoholic Beverage for Guests 21 and older).  If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, you will receive one Quick-Service Meal, one Table-Service meal, and two Snacks, per person, per night.  The Table-Service meal (for dinner only) includes one Entree, one Dessert and one Beverage.  For anything else you would like to add to your meal you can pay with a Disney Gift Card, or you can pay with cash/credit card, or you can charge to your room using your MagicBand, and then settle your room charges at any time during your stay using your Disney Gift Card, or whatever method you choose.  Your Dining Plan entitlements are valid from the time you check-in (if you check-in online, they will be available from 7.00am on the day of your arrival), until midnight on the day you check-out.  Full details of all the Disney Dining Plans can be found here.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
