Will P&J's to go still be available during the time that Trail's End is being refurbished?

    Howdy, Cheri!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for moseying over with your vacation planning question. It sounds like you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort - yee-haw! I just love visiting Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground during trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. There's nothing like being in the great outdoors, especially in The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Cheri, at this time, dining reservations at Trail’s End Restaurant are available through April 202, but please note that availability is subject to change without notice. My friend and fellow panelist, Amy A., recently spoke with a friendly Cast Member at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground who advised that refurbishment plans for Trail's End Restaurant have not yet been finalized. At this time, the Walt Disney World Resort has not released any information about whether P & J’s Southern Takeout will remain open throughout 2023. Therefore, I recommend checking the Walt Disney World Resort website or the My Disney Experience mobile app closer to your arrival date for any updates.

One of my favorite dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort is Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. I encourage you to venture over to this beautiful Disney Resort hotel if you have the chance, grab a Bison Cheeseburger from Geyser Point Bar & Grill, and take in the incredible views. You may even catch the geyser spouting nearby during your meal! What I love most about this dining location is that it offers both a table-service component as well as a quick-service grab 'n' go option. Guests can easily access Disney's Wilderness Lodge by hopping on the internal shuttle that runs between the Resort hotel and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

I hope that you have the rootin'est, tootin'est time on your upcoming adventure, Cheri! If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to swing back by planDisney again anytime. We're here to help!

    Happy Trails,

    Lauren
