Hi there Margaret!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you found us while planning for your upcoming
Alaskan Adventure! It may seem far off now, but it will be here before you know it and you will have a WONDERful time!
Palo…Palo…Palo. I love
Palo. It is one thing that I always look forward to on each of my Disney Cruise Line vacations. I love the ambiance, the quietness (meaning my kids aren’t in sight), the service and the food. It’s delicious! Palo offers both brunch and dinner service and I have tried both and they are outstanding! Palo offers dinner reservations on each night of a sailing, but brunch is currently only offered on sea days allowing Guests to get the most out of their time at the ports the ship visits. On select itineraries if the ship arrives at a port later in the afternoon then brunch may be offered on that day, but your itinerary shows “All Ashore” times before noon at each port, so this would not pertain to your particular sailing.
When your online booking window opens – anywhere from 120 days before sailing (Platinum and Concierge Guests) to 75 days before sailing (first time Guests) – you can make reservations for Palo dinner or brunch. You will select “Adult Dining” under Onboard Activities to make your reservation! There is a nominal fee (currently $30 per Guest) that will be added to your stateroom account, but in my opinion, it is well worth it!
I am so excited for you and hope you get the opportunity to experience Palo. You won’t regret it!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
