I just painted my magic band with a thin layer of nail polish, will it still scan??

    Hi, Krista!

You and my daughter would be best friends. She has "blinged out" so many of our MagicBands with everything: paint, markers, stickers, glued on jewels, and of course, nail polish!  I have gotten so many compliments on my faux "diamond" MagicBand, truly my favorite!

Even with all the bling, my MagicBands always work fine. I certainly would not alter it with scissors or mess with the inner-workings, but as long as you just decorate the exterior, you should be just fine.

Enjoy your beautiful MagicBand. If you see a crazy family with wild looking MagicBands, say "HI" - it will probably be me with my tribe!  See You Real Soon!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
