Will Paint the Night run in between the Halloween and Christmas seasons at Disneyland?

Hello, Madison! It's always fun to see fellow Washingtonians stop by planDisney. Welcome!

I love that you're looking ahead to possibly plan a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth - at perhaps the most wonderful time of the year too! I'm so glad you've asked this great question, as there are many of us (me included!) anxiously awaiting the return of this dazzling parade and are curious about the details!

Disney has confirmed that Paint the Night Parade will be making a grand return on May 16, 2025, and running all the way through summer 2026 as part of the entertainment lineup for Disneyland's 70th Celebration! As I'm sure you are, I am so excited for this fan-favorite to be coming down Main Street very soon!

To answer your question, however, the exact length and dates of Paint the Night's run has not been officially announced yet, and parades do pause, at times, to make way for holiday-themed ones, so the best I can say is maybe!

My suggestion to you, Madison, is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more announcements to come and specific dates, as well as to check the Hours & Events Calendar as your visit approaches the six-weeks-out mark. These will be your very best pals, as you're planning any visit to the Disneyland Resort. (And of course, your planDisney pals are pretty great too. We're here for you anytime!)

I'm sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer, but I trust all our parade wishes will, indeed, come true. If any other planning questions come up, Madison, please don't hesitate to reach out! You've got a friend in this Washington girl.

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Meet the Panelist: McCayla, Washington

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
