Hi Giannina,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like you’ll be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort soon, has the excitement kicked in yet?
Since you bought your
Theme Park tickets with an electronic card, let’s continue with the digital theme to access your tickets. First you will want to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app where you can do things like access your tickets, see park maps, make dining reservations, and much more. Once you’re signed in on the My Disney Experience mobile app, from the home screen, click the three lines in the lower right-hand corner. Then scroll to the bottom and click “Link to Account”, select “Link Tickets or Passes”, and under “Ticket or Pass”, you will be able to add the confirmation number from the confirmation email you received when purchasing your tickets. If you need help with this process, you can always contact the
Existing Tickets help desk.
If you have more than one guest in your party, I suggest you add all the Theme Park tickets in the My Disney Experience mobile app so everything is in one place. You can also access them by selecting the three lines in the lower right-hand corner and selecting the box called “Tickets and Passes”. You can utilize the
Disney MagicMobile Service in My Disney Experience as well.
Now that your Theme Park tickets are linked, it’s time to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Currently the Walt Disney World Resort is requiring both valid Theme Park Admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation for entry into
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT,
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. To do this, start at the home screen in the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Next, select “Make a Park Reservation” then select “Theme Park Tickets”. This will take you to the Theme Park Reservation page where you can select your Disney Park Pass reservations. Want to see all the Theme Park availability? Check out the
Theme Park Reservation calendar.
After linking your tickets and creating your Disney Park Pass reservations, you will be all set to scan your tickets at the Mickey turnstiles for Theme Park entry!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort for the
World’s Most Magical Celebration. Please reach out if you have any other
planning or vacation questions, I am always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
