We paid in full for our Walt Disney World Annual Passes and was wondering if it is possible to cancel passes and receive a refund for the unused months.

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Christine. Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I am a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder myself, Christine, and I personally love all of the benefits of the program. Besides visiting Walt Disney World pretty much anytime I'd like, I think the perks like complimentary theme park parking and discounts on select merchandise and restaurants is pretty great. I do live a few states away and am not able to visit all of the time, however, I think visiting two or three times a year with an annual pass does make it worth the purchase.

Christine, I'm sorry to know that you don't plan on using the remaining months of your Walt Disney World annual pass. Unfortunately, in this case, Walt Disney World annual passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you are having problems using your Walt Disney World Annual Pass, you could always reach out to the V.I.Passholder Support line and chit-chat about your options with a Cast Member over there. To do so, I suggest calling the dedicated hotline for passholders only at 407-WDW-PASS.

I hope things will work out for you, Christine. If you have more questions about your Walt Disney World Annual Pass, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help!

    Have a great week.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
