    We have paid extra to get a Magic Kingdom View at the Grand Floridian, we have been reading on different sites that we should call 7 days before to put in a request. Is this necessary even though I've paid for it already.

    We paid for a Magic Kingdom view at the Polynesian, and it was a breathtaking view at night.  I did call to confirm the whole reservation a week before the trip.  I also confirmed 'the view' at that time.  If it would settle your fears, it never hurts to call.  Have a fabulous trip!! Heather M.
