Brenda from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I paid the down payment of the hotel reservation with a credit card. Will I be able to pay off the remaining balance with a gift card?

Hi Brenda and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question about your Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay!

You can absolutely use a Disney Gift Card or any credit card based gift card to pay off your Disney Resort hotel balance. The easiest way to do that is by calling (407) 934-7639 to speak with a Cast Member and they will get you taken care of!

You may have noticed that you can also make payments online, but you can only do that with the credit card you originally used to make your reservation.

Brenda, as a Disney Resort hotel guest, you will get to enjoy lots of benefits. Remember that as long as you have valid theme park tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can start making your FastPass+ reservations 60 days before your visit!

I hope I've answered your question. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any other questions! Have a magical visit!
