Hiya, Jo! Welcome to planDisney! It looks like you are planning to ring in the new year at the Happiest Place on Earth. I'm not sure that there is a better way to kick off 2023 than with a little magic!
A
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package is a great way to experience all there is to see and do! The
theme park tickets that are included with your package will drop into the Disneyland account used to make the reservation four days ahead of arrival. If you want to double-check, you can always head into your Disneyland Mobile App and tap the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Tickets & Passes". Any active tickets associated with your account will show up here, and you can scroll left to see any additional tickets that may be linked.
While you won't see your tickets until that four-day mark, you will want to make your
theme park reservations well ahead of time as you are going during a popular time of year. These can be made up to 120 days in advance, so now's a great time to be making those plans! At this time, both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation are required to enter the parks. While the ticket is your admission, the reservation holds your spot in the magic and helps Sleeping Beauty to know how many people to expect each day!
Since you have a vacation package, you will just need to ensure that your package confirmation number is linked to your account. This will be automatic if you are using the same account used to book the package. If not, you can head into the app again and navigate to "My Hotel Reservations" from that same three-bar menu. Here, you can drop in your package confirmation number. Now the system will recognize that you have tickets and allow you to make those reservations! Just click the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Make Theme Park Reservations" and away you go off to Never Land ... I mean the Disneyland Resort!
With the timing of your visit, you'll get to enjoy the last week of all the holly jolly of the
holidays. While you will love some of the more traditional Disneyland celebrations like watching A Christmas Fantasy Parade float down Main Street, U.S.A. or sail through the merriest cruise on earth at "it's a small world" Holiday, I love to recommend setting aside some time to explore all that
Disney Festival of the Holidays has to offer at Disney California Adventure Park. This multicultural celebration offers music, entertainment, and lots of delicious snacks from holidays around the world! In lieu of a meal, I love to grab a
Sip and Savor pass which allows you to taste 8 different food and drink options throughout the Festive Foods Marketplace. The best part is that you can weave them throughout your park day while you're enjoying the holiday festivities or grab bites in between your spin through Radiator Springs Racers and your drop on Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!
Jo, so much merry is in store for you this holiday season! I'm sending pixie dust wishes that your trip is a magical one. If you have any more questions, please come back to see us here at

Magic awaits!
