    We have paid our cruise with Disney gift cards. I have loaded the same gift card with $1000 3 times. Now if we need to cancel the cruise and a same GC can't hold more than $1000, where will other $2000 be refunded to ?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thanks for sailing by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!  A Disney Cruise Line vacation is one that you won’t forget; the memories made onboard will last you a lifetime!

    I truly hope that you do not end up needing to cancel your Disney Cruise Line vacation, but thankfully Disney Cruise Line has a pretty fair cancellation policy.  If you do need to cancel your vacation and it is within the fully-refundable cancellation period, your payment would be returned to you in the same form of payment that it was paid with.  If you paid with a gift card, I would imagine that it would be returned to you in the same way – either on one gift card or if that is not possible, Disney Cruise Line will provide you with an alternate gift card with the remaining balance in it.  If you have specific questions regarding canceling your cruise, please contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or your travel agent.  If the sail date that you initially reserved no longer works for you to travel, you may want to consider switching your sail date to another one that works better for you.  Disney Cruise Line makes it very easy for Guests to change their sail date without penalty.  You may be required to pay a difference in price, but the flexibility is there!

    Don’t miss out on all the fun that you can have onboard! From nonstop activities, character experiences and fantastic entertainment, there is fun for everyone to have onboard!  A Disney Cruise Line vacation has something for everyone!
