I've paid adult admission for my 13 year old. Does that mean he can take my 5 year old on rides as the 'adult'?

Welcome to planDisney, Michael! I'm sure happy you're here, and I hope we can get you some answers to help you continue planning a spectacular visit to Disneyland Resort!

Walt Disney once said that he made films "for the child in all of us, whether we be six or sixty." Disneyland Resort is, of course, a wonderful place for this! However, there are some Park Rules in place to help ensure everyone's safety. With this in mind, the current policy in place at Disneyland Resort is that children under age 7 must be accompanied by someone age 14 years or older in order to board an attraction. That means that your 13-year-old and your 5-year-old would not be able to ride an attraction alone, without an accompanying Guest who is at least 14 years old.

I'm sorry if this is disappointing news, although I hope it creates many opportunities to experience all the magic of Disneyland Resort together as a family! I see that you're hoping to visit during the holiday season, this year. It is truly one of my favorite times of year to experience 'The Happiest Place on Earth!' If we can share any personal advice or other helpful tips as you continue planning your visit, Michael, please feel welcome to come back to planDisney. We'd love to see you again real soon!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
    Tishra
