    What would be your packing list for an 8 day trip the first week of December as far as clothes. Don't know what the weather is like that time of year.

    December will be here before you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" I bet you are getting so excited for your trip. 

    December is a wonderful time to visit. Not only is it extra special with all of the holiday happenings, the weather is quite mild. Average highs are in the low 70s and average lows are in the low to mid 50s. As with anytime in Florida, rain is possible. When I have traveled to Florida in the winter months, I pack in layers. I usually wear lightweight pants or capris and a variety of layering options for tops. You will definitely want to pack a jacket (preferably one with a hood) for the evenings of if the temperatures do stay cooler during the day. The most important thing to bring is comfortable walking shoes. This is a must since you could be on your feet most of the day. The last thing you want is to be stressed about how miserable your feet feel and have that ruin your trip.

    As with all weather, it can be unpredictable, so be sure to check the weather outlets about 7-10 days prior to your trip to get a better gauge of the forecast.
