How do the packages/deals work for tix, rooms, dining if you already have tickets with a no exp option?

Hi, Roseann,   To add the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package, your package needs to include at least a one day park ticket for each person in your party.

However, you will need to look at each promotion closely.  For example, the new special offer with the Free Gift Card requires you purchase a 5 night/6 day package that includes park tickets for your entire stay.  So in this case, you can either book the package and use your existing tickets on a future vacation or simply book a room only reservation and use your tickets now.

I usually buy my tickets with the no expiration option and book a room only reservation.  But, when a great deal pops up (like free dining this past fall) I simply booked the entire package and will use my park tickets on my next Disney adventure.   As long as you have the no expiration option, there is no worry about using them quickly.

If you need clarification on any vacation package, give a Disney Reservationist a call at (407)W-DISNEY and they can explain all the details.   Good luck finding the perfect package or deal for your family!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
