Hi, Milisa!
I am so happy you stopped by planDisney with your Walt Disney World vacation planning question! Our amazing team is happy to assist you with finding the perfect vacation package.
You have a few options when purchasing your theme park tickets. You may select the
ticket only option. When doing this, you will select the number of park days, the start date of your tickets, the ticket type where you can add on the
Park Hopper Option, then the number of tickets needed. The Park Hopper Option will allow you to visit more than one theme park per day. The ticket only option is a great choice if you already have your
Resort Hotel booked. When purchasing tickets only, you must pay in full during the check-out process.
If you prefer, you can book a package. You will begin your search at
DisneyWorld.com and "Build your Vacation." Select your travel dates, number of guests, resort hotel and room type. The next step is to add on your theme park tickets, where you will select ticket options including number of park days and add-ons such as Park Hopper, Water Park and Sports, or Park Hopper Plus. Choose the perfect tickets for your family, then add tickets to your cart.
After selecting your park tickets with your chosen options, you will then have the opportunity to add on the
Disney Dining Plan. The Dining Plan is a nice way to know that your meals are prepaid, and you can choose from the Quick Service Plan (think counter service) or the standard Disney Dining Plan which includes one table service meal per day for each guest in your travel party.
As you add on tickets, ticket upgrades, and the Disney Dining Plan, you will see the price listed with your selections, so you know exactly what your magical vacation will cost. I really like that I can go back and adjust my options to fit my travel budget. Take your time at this step and make sure all of your travel needs are met and you are happy with all your choices such as resort selection, room type, and ticket type.
Once you create your perfect vacation, you will check out on the final page. Here you will add the names of the guests in your travel party, add on the Travel Protection Plan (optional), and make your deposit. If more than 30 days out from your vacation, you will need a $200 package deposit. The balance will be due when you reach that 30-day mark. Up until 30 days prior to your vacation, you may cancel or update your vacation plans with no penalty. (Prices and cancelation rules are subject to change so please read the details of your selections.)
You are able to book your entire vacation online, but if you have any questions along the way feel free to
speak to a friendly Cast Member. They will be happy to assist you.
I am excited for you as you begin planning your vacation to Walt Disney World. Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals can't wait to See You Real Soon!
