Hi Ashley!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with such a great question!
Our Walt Disney World
vacation packages include a
resort hotel and
theme park tickets at this time. Flights are not included. My family has always purchased our flights separately though because we have been able to find discounted airfare online. I suggest that you start by pricing vacation packages online. Once you click on the
vacation package link, click on the option to Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today. Enter your travel dates, number of people in your party, and ages of children if you will have children traveling with you. When you search, you should be able to compare prices across several different resort hotels.
Consider the amenities that you would prefer as you select the resort hotel that best fits your budget. We prefer resort hotels with several
dining and
transportation options. A few of our favorites include Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Contemporary Resort, all of which have access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation. Although the monorail station at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is currently closed, it should be reopened by the time of your visit. My family also loves the walking paths from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resorts to Magic Kingdom.
As you make plans, also think about whether or not you want standard tickets which allow you to visit one park per day or tickets with the
Park Hopper® Option. With the Park Hopper® Option, you currently can visit one park in the morning and then park hop to another park starting at 2:00 p.m. Park hopping depends on crowd levels and park capacity at the time of your visit. Once you book a vacation package, be sure to link it in My Disney Experience. Once linked, you need to make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. Keep an eye on the
operational updates since policies and procedures could change.
Ashley, I am sending along a little extra planning pixie dust as you start the planning process!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
