Are there packages available with roundtrip flights from Chicago to Orlando, stay at World Disney World Resort property (including transport from hotel to park) and visit the parks?

Hey Howdy Hey Laura and welcome to planDisney!

There is so much going on right now in Walt Disney World Resort that I am glad to hear you are planning to take a trip to visit the Magic real soon! While vacation packages are available for Walt Disney World, they are a little specific, so let's review some of the details and some tips.

When you are booking a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, you do have the option to book a vacation package. This will include your Disney Resort Collection room as well as theme park tickets. You have the option to add ground transportation but that would involve a car rental. At this time, airfare is no longer offered as an option to add, so this would be done separately on your end. If you were looking for transportation to and from the airport, there are several options you can take from third-party companies to get you to Disney.

You would have several options for getting to and from the airport, MEARS Connect would be one of the more familiar shuttle services to do this. They are located on the ground floor of the Orlando International Airport and have several options to choose from to get to the resort and back. You could also do a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft to get you around as well. You can shop around and check the prices for each of them.

When it comes to transportation from your Disney Resort Collection hotel to and from the parks, you would have the many benefits of Disney Resort Transportation. With resort transportation, there are many forms of transportation to get you anywhere you wanted throughout Disney property. Disney resort transportation starts running 45 minutes before the parks open and 1 hour after parks close for full ease of travel while onsite. This is included in any stay and is at no cost to you!

Now, if you are looking for a one-stop place to get all of this done without the hassle of making the Disney reservation, airfare and transportation, I would recommend looking into an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These travel agents are specialized in booking vacations for Disney and they usually can handle booking all of your needs during your trip and are invaluable resources. You can do a quick internet search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" and you should be pointed to several agencies. One of the best parts about these services is they are free! They will be sure to take the hassle out of planning your trip and allow you to enjoy everything from the planning to your trip itself with top-notch service and expertise.

Hopefully, I was able to give a few options that would work out for your upcoming trip. Best of luck moving forward and if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Happy Planning,

    Nick
