Hi, When I make a package reservation for hotel and tickets how and when do I choose my park days? Evelyn

    Hi Evelyn,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! A Disneyland Resort vacation package is a fantastic way to plan your getaway. It’s so nice to have all your details squared away in one place. Remember, you can always reach out to the Walt Disney Travel Company to book a vacation package. This is a great, complimentary service where a Cast Member can help you book your hotel and tickets. You can call them daily between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM PST.

When you book your vacation, you’ll receive a Disney eTicket. Each eTicket will have a unique code that you can use to link it to your MyDisney account, either online or through the Disneyland mobile app. To link your tickets in the app:

    * Tap the three stacked lines at the bottom right of the screen.
    * Select "My Tickets & Passes."
    * Tap the “+” symbol in the upper-right corner.
    * Use the “Link Tickets & Passes” option to enter your ticket code manually.

Once your tickets are linked, you're ready to make park reservations. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance. The system works a bit differently depending on your ticket type:

One-day ticket: You’ll select the park you plan to visit for that day.

Park Hopper ticket: You’ll choose your starting park, and after 11:00 AM, you’re free to hop between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as much as you’d like!

Be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog and keep an eye out for the 2026 Disneyland Event Calendar for dates of various celebrations in the parks. If you're visiting in early February, keep an eye out for the Lunar New Year Festival at California Adventure and Sweethearts’ Nite at Disneyland Park! You can also use the Reservation Availability Calendar to check for sold-out dates or to see how close you are to the 6-month booking window.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning, Evelyn! If you have any more questions or need help with any other part of your trip, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’d love to share more tips and ideas to add a little pixie dust magic to your vacation.

    Happy planning!
