Have package w/ memory maker booked after Disney cruise for 12/11-12/14. Also staying 2 nights before cruise & plan to just get MVMCP tickets. Can I use my package memory maker on party night & will I still be able to use it for my later stay?

    Hey Jana,

Welcome back to planDisney! I’ve got to let you know that you have the best holiday plans, and I might be a little jealous. Walt Disney World, followed by a cruise on Disney Cruise Line, followed by another Disney World stay; this sounds like the best vacation itinerary! You’ll be fully rested and relaxed after your cruise debarkation and ready to tackle Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separate ticketed event that takes place at Magic Kingdom on select evenings during the holiday season. My family and I love this party because of all the amazing entertainment offered. Aside from the holiday-themed snacks, attraction overlays and snow on Main Street, guests will get to see so many of our favorite Disney pals pass by on festive floats during Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. They’ll also see the skies above Cinderella Castle sparkle during the spectacular Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. You’ll meet rare and popular characters donning their holiday best during character meet and greet opportunities and see the best yuletide stage show around, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, right in front of Cinderella Castle. Tickets will go on sale this summer, and several dates will likely sell out before summer ends - keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for updates.

There’s so much fun to be had at this event, so I can relate to you wanting to capture all the fun with Memory Maker which allows guests to download unlimited PhotoPass photos during their Disney World visit. Good news, Jana: traditional Memory Maker package purchases are valid for 30 days after they’ve been activated. You’ll be able to use your package during both of your Disney World visits this December. Keep in mind that photos taken within 3 days before purchasing Memory Maker will not be included and would need to be purchased separately. The good news? If you buy Memory Maker at least 3 days in advance, you’ll save some cash too!

I hope this information is helpful, Jana. If you need additional planning help, please be sure to visit us here at planDisney again. TTFN… ta-ta for now!
