I have a package (hotel+2Day1Park tickets for Disneyland) for Sept15th/23. Maybe OoogieBoogieTickets will be available until June/23. If I get tickets for the party, would it be possible to cancel 1DayParkTickets of my original pack and get the money back?

Hello and welcome back to planDisney, Yonne. We're so glad you came back to ask us your question. How exciting that you have a visit to the Disneyland Resort this fall to look forward to. I love this time of year at the resort, as well as the Oogie Boogie Bash, and am thrilled to help.

I chatted with a Cast Member who shared that, unfortunately, tickets cannot be upgraded or exchanged for special event tickets. If you would like to attend the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park you will need to purchase separate tickets for this special event. If this is a priority, you can always look into booking your hotel stay and theme park tickets separately outside of a vacation package. However, if you go this route, keep in mind you will no longer receive the magical extras that come with booking a Disneyland Vacation Package.

If you decide to cancel your vacation package 30 days or more prior to your arrival, amounts paid (minus any cancellation fees that may be assessed by third-party hotels or other suppliers, nonrefundable travel protection plan costs, and other amounts owed) will be refunded. I strongly recommend carefully reading the terms and conditions of your vacation package when it comes to cancellation. You can also reach out to a Cast Member for help with Vacation Packages.

We've almost reached the point when we're halfway to Halloween and I'm looking forward to starting my countdown to Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. One of the highlights of this time for me is the Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. It's a frightfully good time. The decorations around the resort and seasonal food offerings are something that I always look forward to. I do hope you are able to attend this year and I'll be waiting with you for the news to break on when tickets will go on sale. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on this.

Yonne, I'm sorry this is not the answer you were probably hoping for. However, I hope I was able to provide some helpful information as you make your decisions. Please come back and visit us if you have other questions. Until then, happy planning!
