I can certainly relate to utilizing the resort delivery on multiple occasions. It was such a convenient service that I enjoyed during each
Walt Disney World Resort visit.
The resort package delivery has not returned, unfortunately. One way I avoid carrying around a lot of my purchases is to ask a cast member about shipping the purchases directly to my home (during checkout). Using this method, my purchases will arrive at my home safely, and I was able to avoid carrying my purchases around, especially for those times that my purchases were plentiful. Another helpful hint I have used is that I take care of most of my purchases before returning to my resort at the end of my theme park visit. I would love for this service to return one day, so keeping my fingers crossed.
